Holiday Inn Express Spokane-Valley by IHG

I booked a King Bed + Sofa Bed room for a three-night stay, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. Here is the breakdown of our stay: The biggest issue occurred on our first night. When it was finally time for bed, we pulled out the sofa bed only to find it was completely broken and unusable. Since it was late, I had to walk down to the front desk in my pajamas to sort it out. We were offered a room with two queens as a replacement, which was fine, but we then had to pack up all our belongings and move everything to a different floor in the middle of the night. It was a massive inconvenience after a long day. A heated pool was a "must-have" for us when booking, but the hotel's "heated" pool was freezing cold for the entirety of our three-night stay. Positive: This is a great hotel! Very clean! Our king floor room was easily accessible with a private door to the parking area! Fresh hot cookies in the evening and fresh hot coffee and breakfast in the morning! Bonus.. easy access charging for our EV! Negative: ""

I usually stay at the Marriott across the street from this property, but they were full - so here I am at the Holiday Inn! Highlight of the trip was the hospitality of Dawn!!! I had their complimentary dinner and cookie both nights and was super happy. Thanks Dawn!

My first stay here was pleasant. Joslyn, the front desk was so respectful and professional. Such a great attitude and great customer service. The room service and cleaning wasn't really great. Other than that, it was pleasant

The room was smaller than I am used to from this chain. It was clean and quiet. Was able to have a restful night and continue my travels the next morning. The breakfast options were pretty good. Lots of choices of proteins, not all just sugar and carbs.
