Holiday Inn Express Spokane Airport by IHG

My family and I just stayed at this hotel for two nights over a very busy weekend. The rooms were in excellent condition, very clean and comfortable. The entire staff was even better. They went above and beyond to provide me with excellent customer service on things that I needed. The breakfast was delicious and the gentleman that takes care of it did an excellent job. I would definitely stay here again. Keep up the good work!!

Positive: "" Negative: I was put in room 421, initially. It had such a strong odor of mold/mildew. It was uninhabitable. When I called to the front desk, the gal didn’t seem too concerned. She put me in another room without an apology, or empathy. It was fine.

Front desk at reception was exceptionally accommodating. When I arrived I needed help finding a restaurant where I could get dinner take-out. Lee, the manager, pulled up a restaurant he recommended and helped me order dinner. When I inquired about the availability of breakfast before my early a.m. departure to the airport he left breakfast for me at the reception desk. Thank you Lee for your care and friendly service - you are clearly a special man! Room was clean and recently renovated so it was very pleasant. One recommendation - shower floor was very slippery. Could add something to the floor to give a more secure shower experience.

Other hotels could learn a lot by examining the running of this wonderful hotel! All of the staff are very knowledgeable and attentive. They are also very friendly and kind. We are here for a week to pick up our household items and then Thr long drive across the country. They have made a difficult time a lot easier. The gentleman who runs the breakfast is amazing. All of the staff is great! Don’t skip the jacuzzi!!

There was no hot water; not even close. Not at 6pm, midnight, or 3am when we left. That's a real bummer for a busy traveler. The halls were super loud for hours and hours and we were no where near the pool. The room was clean and in an accessible room everything worked as needed. The tv channels are ok but there is no casting option to watch your own movies or shows without commercials every 6 minutes. Food delivery options are good, downtown is close. 8 minutes from the airport at 3am.
