Customer Reviews
My husband and I stayed here for the weekend in October and it couldn’t have gone smoother! I always prefer to stay at Holiday Inns, and this one was top notch! It was clean, the room was huge and updated with a beautiful view of the river. The breakfast had a ton of options, including my favorite — their signature pancake machine, and the area was clean and spacious. I will say that parking was more expensive ($38) than I expected even for being in a city. Overall I would stay here again! We had just recently had a terrible experience at another Holiday Inn Location in Pennsylvania where the AC didn’t work at all and we had to check out in the middle of the night — this location and experience was above and beyond way way better!
This is the second time we have stayed at this location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Accommodations were clean and quiet for the most part. Yes, there is some street noise and the occasional rumbling of the train going over the bridge. The hotel is placed very advantageously for access to I95 and close to the Old Town. Breakfast was very adequate and plentiful. Coffee was always available in the lobby. All in all, a great experience. A very well run hotel!
Positive: The staff were all friendly and helpful. at the front desk who helped me switch rooms. Negative: The highway side of the hotel is extremely noisy. I typically have no problem sleeping, but both earplugs and a pillow over my head were not enough to drown out the noise. Thankfully, I was able to be moved to the riverside, which was much nicer.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, we were able to walk easily to many historical sites and really good shopping. There’s also a lot of good restaurants around. The cleaning and service staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. I do want to give a shout out to the extremely friendly and helpful front desk employee named Lisa. Every day I had something that I had a question about or we needed something (we forgot so many things!) and she was always there with a friendly smile and a helpful attitude and really elevated our entire stay. Kudos to the employees here, they’re amazing!
The view was amazing in the morning. The room was clean, staff was great, and the breakfast was satisfying. As far as cons, you have to give the shower at least 10 minutes (maybe more) to warm up and the vending machine on the 10th fl was empty and kept 1 of my $2. Overall it was a great stay, and I'd stay there again if I'm in the area
