Holiday Inn Express Flagstaff, an IHG Hotel

I stayed here while traveling on the I-40, and after driving all day today, I wanted to make sure to come back and review this hotel. Firstly, the staff are excellent. Matt, at the front desk, was very thoughtful and provided incredible service. The room was standard, and unfortunately, it had a door to another room where I could hear my neighbors. The breakfast was excellent and packed. The staff members are very friendly, and I appreciated that they were having a team meeting as I checked out. Their meeting didn’t stop them from being quick to help me when they saw I was leaving. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you, Holiday Inn staff!

I was delighted to hear the attentiveness of the desk clerk upon our arrival as she sought to confirm our preferences for our room location. While that is part of my husband’s check-in profile, it doesn’t always happen that they ask the questions. With such a great start, I have no doubt that our stay will be an excellent one!||Our only constructive feedback is that we had hoped to find some materials that would help us navigate a short trip to the Grand Canyon tomorrow. It’s been 40 years since my husband visited, and it will be a first for me. There were plenty of flyers about helicopter tours, private tours, etc., but nothing that offered “generic” guidance for points of entry or “insider tips” like we had hoped. We can (and will) Google our way, I’m sure.

Great hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice bed and pillows, best we’ve had on our trip by a good margin. A little road and parking lot noise did come through our second floor window. Great breakfast compared to your typical hotel chain continental breakfast. They had some really pretty good biscuits and gravy.

My husband stayed here on the way to California, so we stayed again on the way back. The front desk staff was helpful and engaging. Everything in the room was clean and as it should be. Good place for a fair price.

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Flagstaff! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The gym was surprisingly well equipped for a hotel, and the pool area was relaxing and spotless. The complimentary breakfast was excellent plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. The only minor downside was that the TV didn’t have access to all the channels that were listed on the guide menu, but that’s hardly an issue considering how comfortable and convenient everything else was. Overall, a very good experience I’d definitely stay here again!
