Holiday Inn Express Conyers by IHG

The only reason i gave this hotel a 3 in service is the breakfast dining. I went down around 6:30 there was no food. When she finally got more she came out with an attitude, no good morning no smile. I’ve never seen anyone so unhappy to do what they’re getting paid to do. When she finally brought out some bacon there were maybe 8 little strips. She really needs an attitude adjustment or get a new job. There’s no reason for anyone to have to deal with a miserable person at that hour. I stay in over 200 hotels per year and I’ve never seen an employee so unhappy. Give the woman a reason to smile! Perhaps a pay raise will make s change!

I arrived mid afternoon from a 6 hour road trip for a 5 night stay on a business trip. At reception were 2 women: Shannon, slightly older and the manager, was training Ariana (no name tags - I asked later). Ariana greeted me with a smile and said Hi. Nothing from Shannon. I waited while Shannon processed my check-in. After 3-4 minutes of silence I commented lightly that “…check-in takes a while, huh?” Shannon said she was training Ariana. After another 4-5 minutes, I finally got a key card. I asked where the elevator was located (that info was not offered).||My room (had an even number) was as one should expect: clean, and orderly. Cleanest Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in. Room was spotless and I'm super picky and notice details others miss. 3-11pm front desk agent was so sweet and helpful. Daytime agent that checked me in seemed to really dislike her job, it was quite obvious she was annoyed I was keeping her from playing on her phone. She was horrible to a really kind police officer in line behind me as well. So glad the evening employee was as great as she was (didn't catch her name) she made up for the lack of customer service at check in. Will definitely stay again when working in the area.

This has been the best stay I've had in a long time. Rooms were spacious and CLEAN! And the air conditioner /heat worked with no problems. Front desk staff was top notch. I was impressed to see someone was always cleaning or doing a tidy-up throughout the day in the lobby area. There was never a stench during my walk to my room. Keep up the good work.

My overall low review is due to one employee at the front desk that had very poor customer service. We requested clean towels twice and was told none were available. Of course this would be the one time when I did not travel with any. Also, upon arrival and accessing our room, they was such a fowl odor coming from the bathroom. Thank goodness that upon running the A/C the odor dissipated. Overall the room was clean, good breakfast service and clean gym.
