Customer Reviews
Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great stay all around! From checkin to checkout! They were extremely friendly and the breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. The room was great, good AC and a comfortable bed!
This is actually a Holiday Inn Express now. They have just completed their renovations and I have to say we were pleased with our stay there. Thankfully they accept pets as well with a $75 charge. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were nice. They are not having a full breakfast right now due to COVID but they do have a selection of breakfast items to choose from. It was also nice to be close to the exchange and commissary. We would definitely stay there again.
We left pretty early in the morning, Aneshia our housekeeper was great. My husband went back to double check to make sure we didn’t leave anything. We left the housekeeper a tip. There was a maintenance man in the room, stripping the bedding and a lady were standing outside the room The tip was gone. I just hope they give it to the housekeeper.Room was nice and clean. Mrs McClyde at the Front Desk was great.
I’ve stayed at this hotel several times now, and it truly feels like a home away from home. I always enjoy my time here—the atmosphere is welcoming, and the customer service is exceptional. It’s become my go-to spot whenever I’m in Savannah, GA, and I honestly can’t wait for my next visit.
Where the Breakfast is Hot and the Room is… Moist— If you’re looking for a stay that stimulates all five senses—mostly in unpleasant ways—look no further than the Holiday Inn Express on Hunter Army Airfield. Let’s just say it leaves an impression. Upon entering my room, I was greeted by a scent best described as “heritage mildew”—a sharp, nostril-scorching aroma that whispered of forgotten AC filters and unspoken humidity. The office chair, seemingly glued to the floor, had all the mobility of a retired tank. Meanwhile, the TV—God bless it—displayed programming exclusively in shades of blue, like Picasso’s “Blue Period” but with fewer plot twists. Housekeeping? Let’s just say it operates on the lunar cycle. When they did arrive, the experience transformed into a passive-aggressive boot
