Holiday Inn Express Atlanta West - Theme Park Area by IHG

I needed a quick getaway to rest and reset, and this hotel was a 10/10. When I tried booking online the same day, it said my room would be assigned at check-in, but I wanted to be sure I had a king room. I called and spoke with Tracy (a manager), and she was wonderful from that first phone call all the way through checkout. It was affordable. Check-in was smooth, the staff was very polite and accommodating, and the rooms were clean. The bed was also super comfortable, which made the stay even better. I would definitely stay here again without thinking twice!

After a long drive, this Holiday Inn Express was a welcome oasis. ||The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and funny. The room wasn’t large, but it was nice and quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. ||The breakfast was pretty good compared to most hotels. Bonus points for serving bacon. Most hotels only have sausage. ||My only disappointment was that the shower, which had great water pressure and was clean, wasn’t wide enough to raise my arms and towel off after my hot shower. A minor inconvenience.

My company arranged lodging for five and we received a great rate. We then had a sixth room added later and received the same great rate. I previously reviewed this location from my personal perspective from my stay. But the others shared their opinions as well and universally enjoyed their stay. Found the rooms excellent, the bed is comfortable, and the carpets freshly cleaned. We had ample parking, the parking lot was well lit, and the noise level and environment good. No strong smells or odors in the hallway or around the hotel from people smoking. The laundry machines worked great, the fitness room is a bit small, but if you need a gym there's one nearby. We all recommend this hotel

Clean room? Check. Comfy bed? Check. Convenient location? Check check check … this hotel earns all the “normal” compliments, but what makes it stand out among any, Every, ALL other hotels I’ve ever stayed in is the night staff. Megan, Elijah and O’Detta were above and beyond hospitable, welcoming, friendly, kind, warm. Would you believe me if I told you they actually invited me — a total stranger, traveler on a particularly cold January night — to join their impromptu home-made dinner feast in the lobby. They did, and they absolutely blew me away with their kind gesture. On a scale of 1-5, I give this hotel a 10 because of them. I will be back next time, every time, I travel that route! Bless you guys, you’re the best!

The room was like an ice box, I loved it! Very clean, no chemical smell or funk. Bathroom was very clean as well. Nice lobby. Check in desk was quick and clerk was professional and friendly. Breakfast in the a.m. was good. I'd stay here again.
