Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Lithia Springs

Rooms are mid at best. I always look down on hotels that don't have walk in showers. I stayed at fairfield in Birmingham and they had a walk in. Strike two no continental breakfast. I'm not of the coffee and bagel cloth. So fail for me. The biggest redeeming trait is that it's super near walmart and other eateries and the staff is extremely helpful and courteous. But it gets the job done. We just needed a spot to crash before a wedding. Great customer service really redeems a place. Side note. I notoriously sleep terribly in hotels. This was the first time I've actually had a decent sleep in a hotel. So there's that. I still would recommend it's a nice hotel. But I'm a bit bougie when it comes to amenities. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and made for an enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a very good corporate highway hotel. I would stay here again. The rooms were large and had everything you would need. (The restaurant, however, was understaffed and oversubscribed. The food was average and the staff were grumpy, which, unfortunately left a slightly sour taste in one's mouth.)

Rooms are fine, and the Staff is great, except the sales associate, V., who is very difficult to work with, snippy, and extremely unprofessional. As a contractor with an international corporation, we're Bonvoy Silver Elite members, and book two rooms for a week, event space, and catering, 6-7 times per year. We personally tip the front desk, the room staff, and anyone working the Bistro, $50-$200 every stay. We haven't complained when our rooms weren't ready until close to 7pm at check-in the last four stays. But the sales associate at the location in Lithia Springs is impossible. She does not return phone calls in a timely manner, on a regular basis, and is disagreeable to a point where many of our employees have commented on it. I’ve stayed at this Courtyard Marriott for several years due to work nearby, and the staff continues to be absolutely outstanding. Everyone I interacted with a couple of weeks ago was beyond friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, I did run into an issue with the room itself. Shortly after walking in, I felt immediate irritation, my throat started itching and my ears and face felt warm. The smell in the room was extremely potent, like a very strong floral cleaner mixed with harsh chemicals. I believe the carpet may have been recently shampooed. I requested to switch rooms and was accommodated quickly and graciously by the staff, but the second room had the same overpowering smell. As a result, I ultimately had to check out and find another nearby hotel. I hope this feedbac
