Customer Reviews
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars – Exceptional Service & Comfort I’ve been staying at the Holiday Inn Resort Galveston for the past three weeks, and as a Diamond Elite member who spends 250+ days a year on the road, I can confidently say this has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The level of customer service here is truly exceptional—something you don’t often find, even at higher-end properties. The resort itself is beautiful, and the Signature Series rooms are phenomenal. The pool, gym, and café downstairs are all top-notch and make extended stays incredibly comfortable. Housekeeping has done an outstanding job keeping my room spotless, and I want to give a special thank you to Monica at the front desk for taking such great care of me. Because of her, I’ve received an upgrade each
Positive: Location Negative: Our ceiling was leaking and my mother slipped and fell as a result. By the time we left the ceiling had a huge bubble that was going to explode we were not offered different room the left us with a leaky ceiling for the remainder of our stay.
The room was nice and clean, the key to get in was a wrist band which was pretty cool. I loved that we had close access to the beach if you didn’t stay in the building that’s on the beach. The reason I give 4 is because it does not specify what rooms will put you in the building on the beach which I feel was very misleading. I chose this location for that reason so I was a little disappointed. Overall though was a good experience! Would stay here again.
This was a well-maintained resort. The unit was spacious and had everything I needed. It was some distance from downtown Galveston, but the route was easy to get there.
Pros: Nice rooms, amenities at the resort Cons: Far away from the mainland, no walkable food or entertainment, after hours service, maintenance service and overall service My own experience was simple, we reported an issue on Day 1 of the stay, issue was fixed, issue then started again, we were assured maintenance would get it fixed. Got back late from festivities, realized issue was not fixed, after hours customer service goes to security guards who cannot assist with these issues. Next day (checkout) we leave and a full maintenance remodel team is waiting for us to leave so they can handle the issue. Pay the extra money and stay closer inland.
