Really enjoyed our 2 day stay here. Seems they run specials throughout the year and we booked at a time convenient for us. We had a suite and it was spacious & comfortable. There is a little Cafe with snacks and small bites, a small bar with a wide variety of drinks, and a nice restaurant serving bfast, lunch and dinner. Everyone we encountered with the staff was helpful and friendly. Lots of property activities to enjoy: swimming, games, loft space to relax. The lodge also has access to the Whispering Cave Trail that considerably shortens a hike from the visitor center. Cabins are just up the hill from the lodge.
Great family trip destination. We got to take advantage of the weather and hike from the lodge, enjoy the outdoor hot tub, indoor pool and hot tub, and made s'mores at one of the several solo stoves available. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. Front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and professional. Would highly recommend a weekend stay at the Lodge.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. With two young teenage boys the hotel was perfect. They used the pool, played table tennis and pool twice. It was great family time and a perfect base for walking. We ate in the bar and the staff could not have been nicer. We had a good. look around the shop and enjoyed being together in such a pleasant environment.
First the most important thing, it's very clean and the bed was comfortable! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool very much and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. The only down side is the restaurant had bad reviews and a couple of guests said it's very overpriced for what you get. We looked at the meal prices and decided to go into Logan for our meals. I think in this economy maybe they should make an adjustment to that if possible, it would be nice to dine onsite.
We just got back from spending 3 nights here & were generally impressed. Lodge was reopened in 2022 after being totally rebuilt following a devastating fire & it is being well cared for. We reserved a king room that had a nice balcony overlooking beautiful autumn colored leaves dusted in snow. The bed was very comfortable & hotel staff were welcoming & helpful when we requested extra towels. Decor was woodsy & bright with the lobby area absolutely stunning. There are multiple places in the lobby to congregate & either watch the fireplaces or the breathtaking views. The key cards worked without fail & the mini fridge was actually a cold fridge. |Negatives (for us) were as follows: no overhead shelter when unloading & loading your car @ front door (not fun in the rain/sleet); sensor contr
