Desert Inn Tucumcari

This hotel was great for the price, they had the pool and hot tub working and it was great. The check in time was really strange they have you check in at 3pm and check out at 11am never been to a hotel that does that. The breakfast was amazing I haven’t been to a hotel that offers waffles in a while I really did appreciate that not only the waffles but they had strawberries to add on top. The rooms are small but great for what it’s worth they have just enough space you can tell they did just remodel. I overall really enjoyed my stay minus one thing unfortunately the maids were trying to rush us out of the rooms the check out time was 11am like I mentioned and it was around 10:20 and I had a do not disturb sign and they kept knocking and eventually the manager (I’m assuming) was very rude

The price is right. The rooms where clean. The bed soft. The breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly. Truck stop next door was a little loud( truck noise). And light blead in around blinds. Hot tub and pool where clean and well kept up. Overall for the price you cannot beat it!

Positive: The hotel was clean, tidy, and perfect for a one nite stop. It was a simple room that met our needs. Negative: The mattress was too soft. Also, no elevator, only stairs. Finally, while I'm fine with shutting off the appliances when not in use, the electrical setup was a little janky.

Hotel super clean, nice remodel could of added a vanity to bathroom just a sink no place to put gear. Continental breakfast okay. Pool very clean sauna not hot. Very good price. No elevators for 2nd floor

You get what you pay for. Room was v small, but clean. There was a frig and microwave, surprising for the cost. Desk clerks were friendly and courteous. The bathroom fan sounded like an airplane ready to take off and the light was wired with it. The towels, well, really, they were just nasty- dingy and old. The window screen was not heavy enough to block the outside lights. Breakfast choices were very limited, but we only paid $60 for the room and breakfast. We will not stay there again, but if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay, that it is!
