This hotel was a lovely experience from start to finish. All the staff are super friendly and eager to help, and they clean the room wonderfully! We had a room with a queen bed and a balcony, and it was honestly more than enough room for two people. I will say, be aware that the bathroom lacks any noise suppression, so bear that in mind. The outdoor pool is awesome and the environment around it is always nice too, there is also an adult only area on an upper level where you’re able to tan in the water, but the water is less than a foot deep. The walk to the main strip is maybe about 15 minutes, but nearby the hotel there is conveniently an ABC store & a McDonald’s with a few restaurants. This is a phenomenal hotel, especially if you’re comfortable with walking and getting some steps in.
We really liked this hotel; my personal fave was the adult only pool-like lounge area (picture) - lounging here with view of the sunset and palm trees was nice way to end our trip in Honolulu and a great place to do reading or eat a midday snack with friends or SO. ||The rooms are spacious and the view of pool, marina and the beach (which was nice). The bellhop staff was helpful bringing up and down our luggage. ||The outdoor restaurant had a good variety of food and drink options. ||I liked exploring Hilton Hawaiian village (blue water shrimp restaurant had good ahi tuna) and bus stop around the corner made it convenient to travel around the island. ||The shell necklace upon arrival was also nice and I wore it the entire time. ||I believe on Friday’s they do a fireworks show at 7pm whic
This hotel is in the perfect spot! Quiet location, away from crowds, and it was very clean! The elevators were pretty loud, we could hear it while laying in bed, but the lovely front desk assistant (I think their name was Justine) offered a white noise machine and it made our stay perfect! Everyone is so nice here, I definitely recommend!!
We stayed at this hotel from October 29 to November 4. Overall, the staff was polite and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided — which we appreciated. However, several issues significantly affected our experience.First, the accessible bathroom we specifically booked did not match the photos. There was no handheld shower head, which was important for us. Second, the mirror in the hallway was noticeably dirty upon arrival, with visible streaks from a wet cloth — quite unpleasant for a hotel of this level.I also reported that the faucet in the sink splashed water everywhere, soaking the countertop and the floor. I was told the issue would be checked, but nothing was fixed throughout our stay. The two-faucet system used to regulate water in the bathroom was also very inconvenie
I just wrapped up a 6-night stay at the Hilton Modern Honolulu, and honestly? I'm already planning next year's trip back. Let's talk about the staff, because they absolutely made this place. John greeted me from like 50 feet away every single time I walked through the lobby—the man has superhuman people-detection skills. And Courtney at the Hilton Honors front desk? This Springfield, Ohio native is the kind of person who makes booking and rebooking reservations feel less like a chore and more like chatting with a friend who actually wants to help. She just gets it, and somehow ended up being the perfect fit for Hawaiian hospitality. The poolside bar crew deserves their own shoutout too. Other guests rave about the happy hour at the pool (3-5pm, apparently they make killer Mai Tais), and
