Hilton Vacation Club Oceanaire Virginia Beach

We have stayed in most of the Hilton properties on the oceanfront there but had yet to try this property, so we gave it a whirl. The little kitchenette area is nice and the view was lovely as well. However, we've decided we prefer a couple of the other Hilton properties a bit more than here. The entrance to try to offload when you arrive is extremely chaotic if others are there doing the same. It was easier to go park in the parking garage and then bring our stuff down, than try to offload right when we went to check in and get the parking pass. It was just the overall feel to the place that we decided we didn't prefer as much as a few of the other properties - we couldn't pinpoint a definite "we're never staying here again because of ____."

Stayed at the Oceanaire the week of August 11th. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Riley, Kaitlin and Penny at the Front Desk. Diane from Housekeeping, appreciate you and your assistance with our room request. Riley at the Tiki Bar, great drinks. Derek from valet, for help with umbrellas and beach chairs. The property is nice and in a great location. Beach access and in walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. The parking garage isn't very far but not directly on the property. Stayed in an oceanfront 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite, with a fully equipped kitchen. The view was amazing, the room was clean and there were no issues. Nice property and location.

Positive: It has 4 pools total that are actually apart of the hotel they own next door too. They are all heated and one is an adult pool only! All of the Amenities of the other sister hotel are available to use too Negative: We didn?t get a late checkout as Hilton honors members that we usually get but it wouldn?t stop me from coming back.

For a last minute Valentine's Day staycation we stayed here. The room was nice enough although the "Ocean View" description is kind a stretch. The room was on the corner closest to the main road of the beach and to see the beach you had to stick your head out and look down the alley between the two buildings. The outside noise and the noise from above was a bit of a letdown. Being a Hilton property they could have upgraded the windows to be a bit more noise friendly. The bathrooms' tub while may be convenient for families, could have been an upgraded shower situation and made to provide a better experience. Room was nice.... shower was the slipperiest damn thing it was like ice skating... speaking of ice let's talk about the water coming out of the shower, the sink, whatever... it was 🧊 ⛸️ 🥶 ICE COLD... Especially concerning on a cold AF morning like December 12..... what's the problem here..... Multi million dollar hotel with cold showers, no maid services unless upon request. Etc etc.... the location was fantastic though overall so a good start... beware before booking there is a $200 resort fee (for whatever reason) refunded at checkout, and $57 for something else kinda forgot because it was all not mentioned when booking but by now I can't get my money back for booking so gotta do what I gotta do right... so that was also a surprise!
