Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder

First time there, property has a very Santa Fe vibe going. Love the terrace for the room, rooms were clean and very warm and welcoming. To me the rooms were a great value for what we paid. We enjoyed exploring the property.

Beautiful resort for sure, But it has been frustrating to try and get breakfast in the morning. Perhaps they don’t have enough staff, but in my last 2 stays there I have had to leave to eat somewhere else. Either they need to pay better or recruit better or both? I had the same experience at the lounge, the bartenders were great but short of support staff, waited too long.

I am a Hilton Diamond elite member and I have never had such an incredibly bad experience at one of their hotels. I reserved ahead of time and even pre checked in online to make sure that I had a room close to the elevator. I have recently within the last few weeks had back surgery and checked in to make sure I would have an easily accessible room. I arrived at 3 pm to a somewhat empty parking lot and they told me the room they had assigned me was not available. They then put me in a room that was on the 5th floor and the furthest away from the elevator that you could get. I made due. The room seemed nice but upon further inspection I found dirt and grim that had not been cleaned on the door to the bathroom and the door handle. I also found a hair still left in the sink and one

Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Mini fridge for cold drinks. Ground floor rooms have a patio where smoking is permitted. The only negative for me was no in-room microwave oven. To compensate, there are plenty of restaurants available on site.

Positive: It was a beautiful property and I loved the design of the hotel. The gym was very nice and the hotel was very clean. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The shower wasn't fancy, but had great water pressure. Negative: The food options were limited for dinner, but the Blue Iguans had great breakfast. There was no microwave in the room and the chair for the desk was pretty worn and ripped. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful.
