Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. At a glance room appeared to be clean but upon further inspection, it really wasn't. Bathroom floor as nasty and close floor was nasty. I wanted to hang a dress in the closet but didn't dare because of all the dirt and grime on floor. Stayed for three nights and room was not cleaned or made up at all. Specifically asked for this service and still did not get it. I had to go out in hall and get towels from cleaning staff. Asked for coffee and creamer from housekeeping and was told they didn't have any. Had to go to front desk where I was able to get coffee but no creamer. Was told someone would bring some up, NEVER happened. Renters beware.......pick a different place to stay.

Everything was really nice. I worked with the Michael for the planning of our event. He was patient with the many requests we had. One request was for reserved spots for the Mayor’s detail. He accommodated our needs and the room was set up perfectly. We worked with Luigi, the day of and he was excellent. He catered to our needs and was very helpful. His staff were polite and very helpful as well. The food was good, but not what was on the original document I received to select from, that was a little disappointing. Thank you… we do plan to use the Hilton again.

If there was negative stars, I would pick that. This was by far the worst experience I ever had at a hotel. We checked in and when we woke up I started to realize they had not cleaned the room from the last customer, they simply made the bed. I found coffee stains, food stains, and then my daughter found hair in the bed not ours. It was disgusting. Then they wouldn't give us a full refund because we booked through hotels.com, so we switched rooms. At that point, the water in the new room wasn't draining in the sink or the shower. Since we weren't getting a full refund we were stuck staying there. It was not only disgusting but to tell me they can't refund me after sleeping in a dirty room is just terrible. Never again will I stay here. Save your money.

Booked a block of rooms for 3 nights and they don't clean good to begin with and they don't clean or replace towels or gather garbage when you request while you're here. Kept getting harassed in lobby/ bar area for meeting quietly with family because they didn't want us there. Worst review I ever given anything.

Positive: Staff was friendly and helpful. That included the front desk staff and those working at the restaurant.I was also pleasantly surprised with the range of breakfast and lunch options at the hotel restaurant. Negative: The walls were thin. I heard faint music late into the night.
