Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort

This is the only luxury RV resort on the island! There is a bike path connected to the resort, great for walks and rides. The resort is dog and people friendly! The pool is beautiful and a short walk from any of the gorgeous private lots. Many lots have outdoor kitchens, palm trees and live oaks, and comfortable outdoor furnishing. We came in 2018 and have come back every year!

Our family was supposed to stay 3 nights for some relaxation after a Disney trip. The resort itself was beautiful with its abundant lush landscape. We did enjoy some time at the pool. The other guests all seemed friendly enough but it seemed to be mostly retirement age folks. Otherwise we did not have a very positive experience. Upon checking in we received a very long list of rules/restrictions. A lot of rules for things that we would normally always do at other high end RV resorts. (No electric scooters, no fishing, no fire pits, no drying racks for towels; just to name a few) We were pretty shocked at all the restrictions and felt as though both the adults and kids needed to walk on eggshells to make sure we weren’t doing anything we weren’t supposed to be doing. |Our site was not well

My wife and I chose Hilton Head Motorcoach Resort because it was on our way from South Korea line to Florida and we had a few days to spare. I did not regret it. We had an amazing time shopping at the nearby outlets. We had some great food while we were there we visited the beach, which is within 10 miles of the resort but now let’s get to the resort. It’s absolutely stunning well manicured the staff was super friendly. They have an amazing gym great pool. There’s really not much more to say but if you’re in Hilton head South Carolina and you’re looking for a great place to stay and you have a class a Motor coach that’s longer than 30 feet man stop in and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. I absolutely love the place and if I was ever in Hilton head Island, South Carolina again I

We kind of have a love / hate feeling for this place. The sites are beautiful and mostly well appointed. Each site is different as they are privately owned. One important thing to know is that because they are privately owned there is not a direct “company” you are dealing with as a customer, instead it’s a manager who reports to a membership board. Not all members have the same opinions etc. Where I’m going with this is that they have very strict rules for guests and do not seem to be very customer service focused at all. One example is that they have a very strict check in/arrival time policy. When we were there it was 5 and you should not expect anyone to help if you arrive at 5:15 (even if they are on site) I can tell you from experience you won’t get in and most frustratingly you won’

I can't say enough good things about Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort. The landscaping is beautiful and each site has privacy. My boyfriend had a heart attack our 2nd day there, and everyone was so helpful. The staff arranged so we could stay in our same site for awhile until he recovered. Our neighbors stepped up and recommended a dog boarding place for our 2 dogs, plus gave me their phone number and offered to turn our heat on when it got down to freezing one night. The owner Bob texted me to see how my boyfriend was doing and to see if we needed anything. We felt so much support there - I can't recommend this place enough
