Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort

We love this place so much we purchased Lot 51. Two pools, hot tub, tennis quart, 5 star restaurant on site. Rent our Lot (51) close to waterfront without paying extra for waterfront site. Cozy, high hedges for privacy.

When we were 15 minutes from checking in, around 2pm, we received a text that the site we had spent so much time selecting was no longer available. We were told that the owners of that site had ‘decided not to leave.’ At first we were really put off that they would allow this type of situation, but when we arrived we were given a map and said to pick out a spot and no additional charged unless we wanted to be water/harbor front ($40 a night more).|The site we selected, site 104, was as good or better than the site we originally selected. Back in, FHU, outside table and chairs, two lounge chairs, spaced to park our vehicle, and a solo-type portable fire pit. Very nice park , book on line . The rv park mgr very nice. The two teenagers in office need major training. They know nothing . Location great there is construction noise close by mon - Fri but tolerable . Would stay again

Site 200 is next to a sewage pump and the smell is awful. We smelled it right away but didn’t understand the origin. Management offered to let us move to another site, but we declined because we were not staying very long. We stayed away sightseeing or stayed inside our motorhome to avoid the odor. It permeated our site and the one on the other side. Our next door neighbor said he went for a walk in the resort and saw another sewage pump like the one next to us, and the smell was terrible there, too. Apparently there are only choice sites with this problem. He said that the odor caused his CO2 sensor to go off in the middle of the night. We kept our windows closed and didn’t have that issue. We appreciate trees, but the big one over the site dropped acorns constantly, creating loud pops. T
