Customer Reviews
I’d give this hotel four out of five stars overall. The rooms themselves were excellent. They were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the overall condition of the room felt modern. The view from the hotel was also pretty nice for a city property. The beds were a little firmer than I personally prefer, but they were still comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The business center was also surprisingly useful. I used the computer and printer multiple times and it was completely free, which was nice. After checking out I even sat in there for about an hour for a Zoom meeting and it worked perfectly. One thing I noticed was that I never really found a fitness center during my stay. There is a rooftop poo
I had a nice time at the hotel. The front desk was super nice and helpful. They provided me with a free upgrade on a higher floor which was nice. The room was nice and big. The location is great as there is a lot to do around in the area and the hotel's restaurant has some yummy food. The only issue I had was that the TV didn't work and the carpet in the room needs to be updated. Overall, it was a nice stay.
Positive: location Negative: the person that checked me in was not super friendly, nor proactive ....then when I told her that I was a Hilton Honors member again was not so proactive. Bed was not so comfortable, a bit hard. Rest was fine.
I have stayed here quite a few times over the years, although not in the past two-three years. Therefore, I was keen to see how if I still liked the hotel. Overall, the hotel has a lot going for it. The location is great, and it is close to many attractions in DC, and it is also easy to travel across to Virginia. The room was spacious and in good shape, although a more thorough cleaning would have been appreciated. The thing that stood out to me this time was the the service level, which was good but not great. I do not know how to best describe this, but some of the staff are not "on their toes". To give you an example, when I arrived on the first day and had my hands full with bags and Christmas gifts, I would have expected a helping hand to get all my gear to my room. Especially, since
Check in was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is mandatory valet. Room was nice, generally. #213. I recommend asking for a different room if you're offered this one, as the fan doesn't shut off in the heater. It mostly blows cold air over your face if you sleep towards the window side of the bed. Restaurant, Chef Geoff's, is really good!
