Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Renton

I give 3.5 stars. Mainly for room tv/cable package and restaurant. Room was decent and clean. Comfy bed. Tv was small with some basic channels. Location was easy to get to. (2) bottles of water in room are $3/each. Whatever. Who charges $14.99 + Tax for a basic breakfast? The room charge should cover this. Had I known beforehand, I would have found a better quality breakfast elsewhere else. Next time post this on a sign near the restaurant or something. So disappointed.

Positive: The hotel lobby was neat and clean. I especially likes the arrangement of the chairs and the fireplaces. The seats in the so called garden was a plus. I also like the hot and cold water dispenser. The lobby bathroom was huge and very clean as well. Negative: The only thing I did not like was the bed and the pillows in our room. The bed was lumpy. Also the carpet looked threadbare. Limited lightings in the room.

Probably one of the worst, if not THE worst, hotel room experiences I've ever had. Stayed in Room 204 here at the Hilton Garbage Inn on Sunday August 24 2025, and for $157.57, here's what I got: stained carpets (possibly blood?) in the hallways and the room itself. The musty odor of mold throughout the building (more on this in a sec). BOOGERS on the wall near my door (see pics). A missing carafe, so forget about coffee. A steady dripping of water all night long that emanated from the window (it wasn't raining, so possibly from the unit of the room above me?). And then I found out why when I opened the shades the next morning: tons of disgusting and dangerous BLACK MOLD seeping around the window! (See the pics! So gross!) Rooms are neat and clean. Great water pressure for showers. Rooms are older but are super clean. The whole team is very nice. The elevators went out but they were more than accommodating. A/c heat worked well. The mall is 3 miles away great value for the rate.

Our room was clean and comfortable, everything was in proper working order. Nice lobby, good breakfast. The standout here was the staff. Greg, Noah and Mia were wonderful to us. Their recommendations were spot on and they are just great people. It was a very pleasant stay thanks to them.
