Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Midtown

My wife and I had a night out and stayed there. The staff was friendly and professional but the room had a few issues and could use a little update. The staff was great and very helpful. We will definitely come back in the future.

Our family needed a place to sleep while driving back from Florida. It was very late at night when we arrived. Hotel is under construction and this was not addressed at all by the reservation agent prior to our making a reservation. It was very dark all around the hotel when we arrived, with the added confusion of a construction site it felt really spooky. There is a large construction dumpster in the front driveway. ||My husband had to drive around the building trying to figure out if we were even in the right place. The lobby is completely closed. Many other entrances are not useable right now. ||We found one side door barely visible from the parking lot to enter the hotel and it was not secured at 12:30am so that’s how we got in. No one was there to keep an eye on the door either. ||The

Positive: Location and staff Negative: The room smelled like disinfectant. No coffee just tea. Bed was a little lumpy and it took forever to get hot water

I'm sorry to say although it's been renovated, we've seen cockroaches. The ac unit leaks. The breakfast is not worth 16.95. It should be included for all guests with the prices that they charge. Mold in the shower. I also heard a woman behind the desk yelling at someone on the phone. She was repeating "that's a you problem not a me problem!!" Will not be staying at Hilton again.

Great place to stay! Easy check in and out, friendly staff and very clean room. Hotel was well maintained and super quiet at night.
