Hilton Garden Inn Santa Barbara/Goleta

Location was ideal for our golf trip . Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel very recently renovated to a high standard. Rooftop restaurant well above average and plenty of parking 2 small issues for me 1 only one bedside lamp ( and not on my side!!) why not 2 lamps ? My room had a balcony …. Should be a feature but was a soulless concrete square with no greenery , 2 cheap chairs and no table !!!!!!..,, made no sense to me Overall however rooms were attractive , plenty of charging sockets and I enjoyed my 2 night stay

We've gone to this hotel now for several years and been impressed every time! However, this last trip was the topper of all things awesome! The food and drinks on the rooftop bar are excellent and they accommodate our large group (we are part of a basketball tournament). The staff noticed some of us parents were beginning to have a good time after one of the basketball days was over. They offered up the "board room" so we could continue our "not so silent" game instead of shutting us down. What a blast hanging out with all the parents! And as if that wasn't enough, on our drive home I get a call as we are already 3+ hours in... I forgot my backpack which, let's just say, had some very important things in it!!! This hotel is by far my favorite to visit every year. It is my preferred place to stay while on business. The close proximity to the airport and the company we are there to visit is very convenient. Overall, the main hotel staff has always been amazing and very accommodating. The hotel also has an amazing rooftop bar which provides a beautiful view of the surrounding hills/mountains. The staff serving the rooftop bar have always been super friendly, making for a fantastic experience. Food and drinks could be considered expensive but they have a happy hour on some food and drink items. I highly recommend trying it at least once, it is always something I do on one or both of my nights during my stay. Positive: classy Negative: water kept running through the toilet bowl every hour, keeping me awake all night. A responsible staff would of comp. me on something for my troubles.

Though we only stayed one night we found the property very accommodating. The staff were helpful and personable. The upstairs rooftop lounge area was awesome, too. Food and drinks were excellent. We had several family members and friends meet up and it was a good time had by all. Definitely coming back! 👍
