Hilton Garden Inn Memphis/Wolfchase Galleria

I must say, this stay was truly enhanced by the staff. We had a minor issue with our room upon check in. The front desk employee immediately took action and addressed our concern immediately. The following morning we had breakfast in the hotel. Katina, our server was funny and very personable. That evening we needed to print some documents. Dierdre, possibly the manager was very helpful. The printer wasn't connecting to wifi, she offered to print for us. Overall pleasant stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE! ||We got to checked in to our room where we found multiple long black hairs in one of the beds, food was under the desk from previous guests (not just little crumbs, either), and then the bathroom.. as soon as you walk into the bathroom is reeked of pee smell. ||We got moved to another room.. it DID NOT GET BETTER! ||We got to the second room where I found a bug crawling in the sheets. Black hairs were in the bathroom.. looked by the night stand and could see something weird. Turns out it was WEED, yes the drug kind of weed. ||This hotel may be a part of a usually nice hotel chain.. this hotel is not nice! IT IS DIRTY, EVERYWHERE! I look forward to staying here again very soon. The location was close to the office I work out of and it felt like a safe area. I always found a parking spot close to the building. Katina is the definition of hospitality. She greeted me like a friend every morning. Breakfast was scrumptious; I loved the cooked to order omelets. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because all the hard surface like the desk and nightstands were sticky. I honestly think the wrong kind of cleaner was used and it caused the synthetic wood to breakdown, but it was still gross.

Positive: "" Negative: Booked several rooms (some 1 night & some 2). Paid deposits in alignment with reservation. Upon arriving back at hotel on second day, were told 1 2 night room was only a 1 night stay. No explanation on why that was case when we did a 2 night deposit.

I visited this property Sunday night, February 22nd. My room was great. I had a long day and decided to go down to the bar. The black bartender with bangs was very attentive and great at her craft. My drinks were great! This vibe was ruined by the cook with braids that kept walking by looking at me in an aggressive manner. She made me feel completely unwelcomed and as if my visit was not wanted. I will not be coming back to this location.
