Hilton Garden Inn Hampton Coliseum Central

I can’t say enough great things about my experiences at this hotel. I’ve been staying here every other weekend for the past two years with my two little kids, and every single visit reminds me why we keep coming back.The customer service here is truly amazing. The ladies at the front desk are always so kind, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Traveling with kids can sometimes be stressful, but they always go out of their way to make sure we’re comfortable and taken care of. They greet us with warm smiles, help with anything we need, and genuinely make us feel valued as guests. What stands out the most is the consistency. In a time when great customer service can be hard to find, it’s honestly refreshing to come to a place where you receive world-class hospitality every single time.

I am a global traveler - whose eyes have seen MANY a Hilton properties.|This HGI severely let us down.|Here is a detailed breakdown:||During the festive timespan I opted to book this venue, for its prime location.|There is a min Walmart and auto care store in the adjoining parking lot. and within 1mile radius you can find many restaurants and shopping venues. At check-in, I was greeted by a friendly face and went off to the room to drop off some plants and food for the arriving family members. ||This stay was a lack luster experience.||Upon getting on the elevator, a LOUD sound was heard as it took off or stopped.|The dated and overused elevator button needs some attention. The patchwork is shoddy.|There was a clock in the room, but it did not work.|What also did not function properly was

The Hilton Hotel was interesting. I enjoyed my stay. The beds were very comfortable and the room comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the presentation. Although, the presentation was beautiful...the covers had hair all over, the pillow cases were to small. The drawer would not shut. When I went for breakfast the chairs were stained and tables not been cleaned in awhile for they had stains. The hostess gave us a dirty and wet book with a receipt. I was so disappointed. I hope that the housekeeping staff realizes that there job is of utmost important for the customers and the upkeep of the hotel. I see so much of this where the employees aren't grateful for the opportunity to serve.

Positive: Hotel staff very friendly. Negative: The room we first had, the heat didn’t work. Also, the room we moved to there was stuff behind the chair when I pulled it away from the wall. Wasn’t cleaned very well.

I arrived at 4:30 PM and was told I had to wait about 30 minutes for a room to become available. There were several other guests waiting in the lobby as well. Check-in time had already passed, so this was frustrating and inconvenient. I believe some type of credit or adjustment should have been offered for the delay. When I finally got to the room, the issues continued. There were no large bath towels in the bathroom, only smaller ones. The beds didn’t have proper comforters.. just a very thin quilt. I was freezing all night and extremely uncomfortable. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I expected much better.
