Hilton Garden Inn Durham Southpoint

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. During my time associated with the Hilton Garden Inn Durham Southpoint, I experienced a situation involving a staff member that was handled in a way I found to be highly unprofessional and uncomfortable. Actions taken by an employee led to confusion and subsequent conversations that, from my perspective, were misrepresented and escalated unnecessarily, even involving members of my family while I was no longer present at the hotel. What concerned me most was the lack of follow-up and accountability from management. I made several attempts to contact the General Manager to discuss the matter directly. Have stayed here multiple times for over a decade. It is Reliable and convenient to shopping restaurants and the interstate. While I'm never a fan of window heating/A/C units this one wasn't particularly loud and managed to keep up on spite of record cold temperatures outside.

Just left there! The parking was ok. Definitely recommend the vending area. Saw a bug and they was so nice and helped me get into another room. I understand it was not their fault but I went to the lobby and a Brianna helped me. She was nice and apologized even though it was not hear fault. The wake forest volleyball team was there and I didn’t feel like they were too loud. I’m not sure if it was on purpose but they kept me off the hall. Thanks again guys. Love the area. Saw a cool DJ named DJ Lowkey in the lobby and a musical artist who was on tour. Then the Bri girl at the lobby paid for my drink cause of the bug with her OWN money. Also; saw a maintenance lady or cleaning lady listen to someone properly and not blow them off.

Great location near restaurants and shops. Rooms were nice. Hallways could be cleaned. Looked like it may have gotten a renovation a couple of years ago. Breakfast is available, not always included. Firstwatch restaurant for an excellent breakfast is next door. Ruth Chris steak house is in the same building as the hotel.
