Hilton Garden Inn Annapolis

Good hotel, the staff were all friendly, helpful, and incredibly courteous. Our room was nice , comfy, and clean, if a bit dated and tired. They are in the middle of a renovation and it looks like the update will be real nice. We had the artisan sandwich for breakfast, which was tasty and substantial. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to a subway, liquor store, Mexican and Latin restaurants, as well as a chipotle. There was also a mall and some other restaurants about a 20 minute walk away. The gym was ok, with a few cardio machines, a peloton. There is a pulley machine with a pull-up bar. In the weight department it was kind of lacking with only 30, 10, 5 pound dumbbells.

The hotel is currently under substantial construction for renovation. My reservation was made on the Hilton website and while making the reservation, I was not informed that significant construction was active at the hotel. There was consruction debris in the hallways. The rooms on the opposite end of our floor were being cleared of all furniture to prepare for renovation. Not what I'd expect from a Hilton Hotel. Be advised! ||Didn't think I'd need to ask about major construction. I told registration that I expected to have been advised in advance. The response was, "We understand that's been an issue." That doesn't meet my expectations. Yours?

We had a pleasant stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Annapolis. The place was clean and well-kept, and service was quick—especially when we requested extra towels. Check-out was smooth and fast, which we really appreciated. It’s about a 15-minute drive to downtown Annapolis and the historic district, so it's a convenient and quiet spot just outside the city. Would definitely stay here again!

UPDATE: I called to talk to the manager. I left my number. No call back. The response from the owner isn’t genuine. I choose Hilton 90% of the time. I’m appalled at my experience at this hotel. Apparently, no manager was available both days I was there. I was supposed to receive a partial refund for two incidents but I only received it for one. The manager never returned my call so I am making a review about my experience. When we arrived to the hotel, I noticed that one of the washcloths were stained. I had to contact the front desk because the toilet would not flush. It was a small issue that was quickly resolved, but it should have been fixed prior to our arrival. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Exceptionally attentive. Check-in was a breeze. When I called for extra towels and a pillow they arrived in minutes. The bathroom was spotless and the shower water perfectly hot. The water pressure was strong. The pool looked clean and inviting. The room was well appointed. Now, the downside. The parking lot is grossly under lit. No lighting beyond the main entrance. Very unsafe. The carpet in the hallway to the room had obvious dirt and debris on it. The bed felt like it had a wooden cross made out of 2X4 posts under the mattress. Even my husband who can sleep on a barren concrete floor said the bed was uncomfortable. Little sleep was had by us as we were tossing and turning all night from hip and back pain related to whatever was under us. (Room
