We have wanted to stay at the Maryland Inn for so long. We live 30 minutes from Annapolis. After the holiday stresses my husband and I thought, let’s have a staycation to just be a couple. Reconnect and just be in each other’s presence. Upon checking in we were fortunate to be the guests of the day, to be upgraded, and have some bite sized pastries waiting in our room. We felt so special. The hotel itself is true to the historic charm and comes with uneven baseboards and original structural integrity, but that only adds to the charm. We were given ample window units to chill the room and the room itself was inviting. The bar downstairs coupled with the history of the drummer boy was nice to have for a final night cap. We would have loved to have been able to see the other room on the other

The Room was Clean and the bed was comfortable. As far as service goes I asked for a wine bottle opener and was told to go to a store down the street which as closed. Check in was easy and Valet was 80 with tip.

I rarely write negative reviews, but this is absolutely pathetic. My wife and I spent an exorbitant amount of money to stay over the weekend for our wedding anniversary. Our first room had roaches, so we were downgraded to a smaller room with a bathroom toilet that legitimately screamed as we flushed. The "Rain Fall Shower" they describe online is absolute lie. We also couldn't properly access the mini fridge because the bed was blocking it. "It's an old building!" I expect competency and proper customer service for the amount we paid, including the hidden fees we found this morning on our account. We have reached out multiple times to speak with a manager to only be told no one was available to speak with us. We were told that an email would be sent to us - twice - with three times on

Spent 4 nice nights at the Maryland Inn. If you are staying here, please remember this is an old building that has been preserved, not fully modernized. The stairs are creaky, the floorplan is odd, and the building is old (1776). There is no free breakfast (though restaurants abound), there are no desk staff (they are in the Gov. Calvert House where you check in), and you have to enter the workout room from outside the building. Parking is a hassle and expensive, even if you self park.||However, you are staying in a colonial-era building in the heart of historic Annapolis which, if you are a history buff, can't be beat. You can walk to shops, restaurants, and the Naval Academy. The staff are extremely courteous, the hotel is clean and comfy. Rooms do have TV (with some spotty connections)

It was fine. The mattress was dirty, which we noticed because the sheets were sliding off when we were on the bed. The location was amazing. Although it says 24hr front desk, when we tried to check out at 6:00am and after calling the front desk 2 times we had to leave the key cards on the desk.
