Positive: The pool. Though it was a little dirty. Pool staff was attentive. Good kid activities. Negative: The first rooms smelled like mold or armpits. We paid for a top level view and the smell was horrid. We ended up being moved the second day. It also took multiple calls for linen.

The room was nice , there was a weird smell which made it hard for me to breathe sometimes . The room appeared clean a lot of hair on the floor. Toilet wasn’t that clean, but I always sanitize with Clorox before using a hotel room. My stay was good except at the restaurant downstairs and Starbucks . The off taste nothing like Starbucks a waste of money when you can walk less then a mile to a real Starbucks . The restaurant I ordered a pizza after waiting 15 minutes they lied and told me the oven was broke. I don’t believe they ever put my order in . Other than that the workers in the hotel were all nice and welcoming every time we came and gone someone welcomed us back or said good morning.

My friends and I are staying for a night before our cruise and we are so impressed by the hotel! The rooms are unique and clean and the balconies feel perfect for Galveston. The heated pool with a swim up bar & the lobby bar are great amenities! Becca checked us in and was so sweet and welcoming. She made the check-in process so smooth and made sure we had all the info we needed.

Front desk, Emily, was wonderful! VERY helpful. We checked in and needed to change our room to an upper floor due to noise and bad view. She was incredible nice and accommodating. We were able to move to the 6th floor with a clearer view of the beach. Room was clean, floor tile in the bathroom had cracks in the grout which caused water to seep in and 'squish' so, that may become a mold issue quick. I do wish that there were signs coming out of the elevator that reminded guests to keep voices down in the hallway. A group accumulated near it at 2 a.m. and were talking super loud there and walking through the room hallways with no concept of ppl being in all the rooms asleep, it was a few times that this happened, very late. Location is nice, good amenities, restaurant food and coffee

We went to Galveston for my husband’s birthday and booked a room on the top floor which was premium. When we got to our room we realized that one of the black out blinds was missing. We talked to the front desk in person and were told they would call maintenance to fix it. Maintenance did not have any blinds to fix the problem. The manager did not offer a solution to this problem. It seems like they could have placed a cover or something to block out the light at night but they did NOTHING! We were told that there were no available rooms on the top floor and we could downgrade to a lower floor with 2 queen beds instead of one king. We chose to stay in our room. Also, we had dinner at the hotel and it was terrible! The calamari was rubbery and the pizza was like cardboard. Don’t stay there
