Hillside Crossing Nashville

I stayed at Hillside Crossing Hotel starting Valentine’s Day weekend, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. When I first checked in, the room had dead bugs on the floor and even on the sheets. I was moved to a second room, which did not have the pots and pans that were originally provided in the first room. On top of that, the bed only had two thin sheets and no blanket. When I called the front desk Friday night, I was told no one could help me until the next morning. Our checkout was Sunday, and we had nowhere else to go, so we had to make do with the poor conditions. Despite everything, we ended up renting another room weekly. We were then told that weekly guests do not receive cleanings, fresh towels, or sheet changes. They also accepted cash for our second week

Worst hotel ever. Please read all reviews about what's going on. Very unsafe place. Dirty, noisy at all hours and very unsavory people wandering around. We paid for 4 nights, checked out at crack of dawn after 1st night. No refund from hotel or Expedia. Go directly to your credit card company and put in a dispute. Nobody should have to pay for this.

Listen, for a hotel in the city (not expected to be a resort), it’s actually quite nice. Had an issue not long after I checked in yesterday with the original room, & the sweet lady behind the desk moved me without hesitation. She’s been great to deal with. I didn’t expect it to be as nice as it is, for a smaller hotel like this.

Positive: There was one friendly person That cared. Negative: There was staff that work nights that. Are rude and racists. and if you can't get in your room at night after12 am you have to wait 30 min to get a new key cause no one will be working that is if they show up.

Karen is amazing and always goes out of her way to be super kind and genuine while dealing with me and I really appreciate that. You never know what kind of day someone is having and the impact a warm smile or gesture can truly have on someone. You can really tell she is exactly where God wants her to be. Sorry to go on and on but I really wanted to give credit where credits due to this sweet woman and do my part to ensure she gets acknowledged for her efforts -thanks more than you know
