No reservations needed. Camp at your own risk. Fire pit in the middle. Picnic table available for use.

Nice place to go see on Tillamook Head. I came from the further entrance by Seaside. There is a shorter way up from Indian Beach. Either way you come up, you will be climbing uphill, but it's not that bad. If you are hiking through and needing a place to camp, plenty of places to setup a tent. Also, they have shelters and a covered picnic table area. They have a bathroom up there also, that is maintained and full of TP and appears clean for being way out there, but does have a horrible smell. Continue 1/8 of a mile West to what should be an amazing view. Unfortunately for me, it was cloudy.

Scenic 4 mile hike that starts at either Tillamook Head Trailhead just South of Seaside (or Ecola State Park Trailhead at the other end of the trail, which totals 7 miles). After an initial mile of switchbacks, this trail opens up to some pretty spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Ammeneties at the Hikers Camp include four cabins with two bunk beds each, a fire pit (with firewood available, it's just asked that you leave a donation in the lock box), a covered picnic table, and vault toilets. Once you arrive at the Hikers Camp, I suggest you follow the trail West where there is an underground bunker, and an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and the Tillamook Rock Light. Worth it! You can continue South on the trail, and after about 3 miles, you will reach Ecola State Park. Last fall,

Nice little 1.6 mile hike from Ecola State Park, it is all uphill and you gain about 540' in altitude from the parking lot to the hikers camp, there is a vaulted toilet there, no water sources along the trail so make sure you bring plenty with you.
