Highland Country Inn

It doesn't get any better. Incredible value in a family owned motel. Perfect location near NAU and downtown. Room was spotless. Beds were comfy. Front desk staff was friendly. Nothing fancy but if you want a great value, super clean, and safe, this is it.

This is a family run motel, the same guys there when we stayed in 2001 who are nice folks.|No breakfast, but that was as advertised and the good price was very fair. There is a popular coffee shop next door.|The rooms were very clean and well looked after with a comfortable bed. Toiletries and towels were good quality and the room also had a fridge and coffee maker.|Downtown is a short walk away and there is an excellent brew pub, Mother Road, within 5 mins, on the street over the crossing, that has a good vibe, fantastic beer and comfort food.|This is a very good example of a small independent hotel and we will certainly stay again.

I had an excellent stay at this motel. Everything was spotless from start to finish the room was extremely clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. I really appreciated the practical amenities: a fridge, microwave, and coffee ready to enjoy in the morning. The atmosphere was quiet, the furniture simple but very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and immediately know you made the right choice. The attention to detail and the overall sense of freshness truly stood out. Everything felt organized, neat, and welcoming. Without a doubt, I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Positive: Very nice Hotel. Seems to be family owned and everyone there that assisted us were very nice. They always tried to help us with our accommodation requests. We needed 3 rooms on the ground floor. They were able to accommodate our request. Negative: No. I was very satisfied.

For a very low price it is a very comfortable space. It is quick to get to from the I-17, very centrally located, and has been my favorite accomodation while here working. I booked and then came back and rebooked! Do note that there aren't any frills or upperclass amenities. Just good ol' comfortable bedding and quiet privacy. Parking is right outside of the door and it is quick to get in and out whenever necessary.
