Hidden Creek Campground - US Forest Service

This is a dispersed camping "site", enough room for a truck and a tent, not for RVs. Lots of FS roads to explore, 4X4 recommended but not required. There was a lot of trash when I went. I took some trash bags and packed out as much as I could, but I imagine there will be more. Keep in mind that there is no water or toilets. all in all, it's a nice little spot, not too far from civilization. If you take it in, YOU TAKE IT OUT!

They put down some gravel so manageable w/ my pop-up. Peaceful.

Do NOT attempt to go here with an RV or camper. The dirt roads have enormous potholes and there is a cliff with no guard rail for all the drive. We tried to make it but couldn't and had to go in reverse, back down the mountain. Total nightmare. Do NOT attempt.

Google maps doesn't not take you to the property but to the neighbors house. There is a large sign on the left side of the gravel road however it is not marked much further then that. I of course arrive after dark due to traffic issues during my travel south. The road to the campground is pretty well maintained for the most part. However there is a few forks in the road that are not marked so it was a guessing game which direction was the camping. Ended up getting lost for a few hours. I don't live locally so maybe during the day it is a bit easier to find. The campground it's self was decent, lots of trash everywhere. Great sites! They feel very private and secluded, even though it's not far off the beaten path. Plenty of Forrest roads to explore and even find your own campsite
