Hampton Motor Inn

Clean. Which is important but it is the only good thing I can say about it. Not even a clock or phone in the room. Asked for handicapped room. Said they don't have any (which I think is illegal according to ADA). Asked for room with shower because of mobility issues. Nope, only tubs. Tub didn't even have grab bar. Toilet didn't flush well. Curtain on window wouldn't completely shut. Access to bathroom so tight a wheelchair would never have been able to fit. Microwave so small it would hardly fit a small cup. Soap and shampoo horrible quality. Fortunately I brought my own. Not even a do not disturb sign for door. Some of these things sound very nitpicky I know, but irritating. Did a long weekend getaway to Hampton with my significant other. We picked this due to the proximity to the beach but also because it was still in Hampton. Room was ready at check in, staff and pleasant, room was okay. Room only had deadbolt, no chain. Room also had a window that could be opened. Bathroom showed some mildew on the shower area ceiling. Room had a TV with local channels, AC, mini fridge and microwave.

I've stayed at the Hampton Motor Inn for 5-6 days two different times. It is a little back-dated. However, The rooms are super clean, the staff is so accommodating and friendly. They go out of their to please you and make sure you are comfortable. The prices are so very reasonable, and the best part for me is there is no carpeting in the rooms. Also, they are very close to all the places and amenities that Hampton Beach has to offer. Their wifi is always consistently good and fast. I travel to NH 2-5 times a year and will always stay here. A total A+ in my book for a small family owned motel.

I read some reviews that made me think that it would be worth the stay but I would never stay here again if I had any other option. Strong odors, questionable cleanliness, and paper thin walls. Guess it's good that even though there's a television it's not connected to any cable source so you don't have to listen to what anybody else is watching.
