Hampton Inn Youngstown-North

Had an excellent stay at the Hampton Inn Youngstown–North. Fair price, clean room, friendly check-in, and a convenient spot for a cross-country stop. The same gentleman who checked me in also greeted me the next morning, just as polite (maybe even more!) than the night before. Here’s what truly stood out. About about two hours after hitting the road west on I-80, I got a call letting me know I had forgotten my laptop in the room. I wouldn’t have noticed until much later in the day. He didn’t just alert me, he offered to handle everything. He contacted UPS, packaged my computer with care, and had it shipped out the same afternoon. It arrived safely and works perfectly. This hotel was an oasis in the midst of a winter storm traveling from Pennsylvania to Michigan. The room's standard furniture & esp. the lighting was FAR superior at this Hampton Inn than the one in downtown Williamsport, PA, thanks to this facility's management...I highly recommend this hotel. This was a very pleasant stay! We had rowdy neighbors (it happens) and we asked for a room change and got it approved. We were very appreciative of the hospitality. The room was great—spacious enough and the beds were firm and comfy. No issues. Thank you for helping us get a good nights sleep!

We had to stay here because of snow. Couldn’t leave due to road conditions. There was a used condom and wrapper on the floor next to the sofa. The bathroom floor and shower were dirty. Hampton Inn’s are usually great, but not this one.

Positive: The location is great and the rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was really good. The spread and quality were both better than similar properties I have stayed at. Negative: ""
