Hampton Inn by Hilton Youngstown-West I-80

The hotel was over all great. I booked 2 rooms here and both were clean. I needed my floor mopped in one room and they did not hesitate to do it even on Christmas Day! The breakfast hostess was great she was always smiling each morning and keeping breakfast items stocked. All front desk staff I spoke with were great and had great hospitality. I had one situation that occurred during my stay due to a situation at the hotel I spoke with the general manager who made sure to make it right prior to me departing. I will recommend this Hampton inn and will visit again on my trips to Youngstown.

The location is this hotel’s strongest asset—right off I-80. However, the property feels quite outdated and doesn’t meet the typical Hampton Inn standards you’d expect. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, which was a bright spot during our stay. The breakfast options were limited. Overall, it’s adequate if you simply need a place to sleep for the night, but don’t expect luxury amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which made us feel right at home. We traveled with our two dogs, and the hotel was very accommodating and pet-friendly, which we truly appreciated. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. This is definitely a place we would stay at again, and we highly recommend it to others—especially those traveling with pets.

Great location. Checked into room. Not one piece of linen in the room (no washcloths, hand towels, bath towels) went to call the front desk… phone in room did not work. It was late so figured I would address next day. The next evening when I got back from work I stopped at the front desk asking for some towels. I asked for two towels. 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel. Explaining I had NONE in my room upon check in and the phone didn’t work to call down front. No apology. I was told I’ll see what I have. She came back with 1 washcloth. 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel and said “this is all I have”. Stated they could bring me more in the morning. Told them I was checking out in the morning needed tonight and that was it. I just had to be happy with what I was given. The room was honestly gross and

The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and kind. Breakfast is adequate. However, the owner needs to invest in upgrading to Hampton standards. The beds are absolutely terrible. They immediately sink to the side when you sit or lay on them so you are always about to fall off the edge (we had 2 different rooms and both were horrible). The mattresses must be decades old. The furniture looks outdated with veneer completely coming off on the counters and desks. The pool is under construction without notice which was disappointing but we could live with that, if only the beds allowed for a decent night's sleep.
