Overall, pretty good hotel in a good location. Staff definitely could be a little nicer. Can’t even get a phone call in without being on hold for 30 minutes. Lots of attitude and poor customer service. The breakfast was mediocre at best, . The hotel is very clean and it’s in a really great location with a great view though.
Great location, easy to walk to food. only spent one night but staff for very friendly and accommodating. rooms were clean and great size. had a fun view of the city from the window. value for the room was excellent especially in december. breakfast was standard but plenty of options. lobby was well decorated for the holiday. valet parking was amazing!
Positive: The hotel location was close to event I attended. Negative: Only one working elevator which created a wait time to get to lobby.
Personally, the location here is very good. You're within walking distance of a delicious Chinatown, metro and buses easily take you to almost all the attractions you want to visit—a far superior experience compared to my previous stop in New York. If you're traveling with children and want easy access to all the museums, this is the perfect choice. The breakfast experience was excellent; they offer free breakfast and constantly replenish the food selection. It's best to arrive before 9:30 am to avoid crowds. There's a reminder in the room that they'll clean the room the next day, which I found reasonable. I suggest you to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers. The valet parking experience was also better than in New York. I was overcharged for parking in New York, but here
Great location, great rooms, with potential for improvement in services. The location allows easy access to all tourist spots in DC by buses. However, the service definitely belongs to one of the worse hotels I’ve stayed at. We had our “Do NOT Disturb” sign hanging at the door handle in the morning and our door was repeatedly knocked anyways by some maintenance staff. We requested to see manager on-duty during check-out to complain. We were left waiting for a good 10 minutes till she “finishes the call” before we were able to speak to her about our experiences. However, she does not appear to care. We received no apology for the rude behavior of the maintenance staff and the manager didn’t even react much to our description of the incident. Unfortunately, this has caused us to post a comm
