Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh Downtown

We recently had a fantastic stay, our first trip with 2 dogs. A huge part of that was Bee at the front desk. Traveling with pets can be stressful, but Bee made us feel welcome and completely at ease. From the moment we arrived, Bee greeted both us and our dogs with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. She knew everyone’s names by the next time we walked by the front desk. It was clear she truly enjoys helping guests and loves animals. Her level of hospitality made our first trip traveling with the dogs easy and enjoyable, she is a fantastic representative of the hotel. We look forward to our next dog approved trip.

Belvita at the desk always made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She also helped us with places to go that might interest us around town. If we ever had a problem, she and the staff remedied it immediately for us. It was the cleanest, nice looking, accommodating hotel I've ever been to in my life. Not the fanciest but the best overall. The breakfast was very good. They also kept coffee, hot chocolate and hot teas available all day during our winter visit. Hands downs, best hotel experience in my life!

I stayed here for a work trip for a couple of days and the experience was wonderful! The rooms were nice, the staff were so helpful, and the general atmosphere was cheerful. One staff member who absolutely stood out was Lilly Spence, the sales manager. My team booked a conference room for our trip; Lilly helped us with our booking and always made sure we had everything we needed. Whenever I saw her in the hotel she would make me feel so welcome and ask how our meetings were going. Truly a 5 star employee. I would absolutely stay here again and want to let the entire team at Hampton Inn & Suites, Raleigh know that they’re doing a fantastic job at maintaining a great hotel!

Positive: Good room maintenance. Nice room. Negative: The TV was a little hard to figure out. The first day I was there they had scrambled eggs...real scrambled eggs...and bacon for breakfast. It was great. It went downhill from there. Those fold-over omelettes just aren't all that great.

Perfectly good hotel for what we needed, Shanett was very nice and informative. Free breakfast was surprisingly one of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Down sides are parking and environment. Parking was weird, I’ve never paid for a hotel and had to pay $30/day for parking. It was a perfectly fine garage, plenty of spots all times of the day. But it’s weird, the daily max cost is $20 for the lot, but for hotel guests it’s a flat rate of $30/day, just doesn’t make much sense. And the downside of the environment is that it’s a popular location for going out, which is what my wife and I wanted on vacation, but it was a little loud until like 3/4am, and there were a ton of young people milling around at the clubs and standing in the way at bars.
