Great hotel until one of the young female staff singled out my wife at the breakfast room and told her to sit at the table for five minutes until they opened. There were already people eating. Completely ruined our thoughts of this hotel to employ someone like that. Reported it to front staff. Rest of staff was good, elevators were quick. Convenient location. However we will not be back after that experience. We also checked out a day early for the bad experience.

This was an awful experience. We discovered on the first morning of a 12 day stay that the hotel expects its guests to eat off paper plates with plastic cutlery. Hilton should be ashamed to put their name to this brand. If this was stated on the website we would not have booked. We purchased cutlery and crockery and used it for our stay but each morning at breakfast you were reminded how little Hilton value you. Other negatives were that half the staff were friendly and half were not. The color scheme makes it difficult to tell the level of cleanliness. The hotel needs a large notice on their web site to say you will be eating off paper with plastic for your stay.||I try to be balanced in reviews but the whole experience was so damaged by the paper plates that it's hard to say what was goo

The location was excellent just at the center of Canal Street although there were homeless people sitting outside the hotel occasionally. The free breakfast was repetitive and boring. There was no coffee station at the lobby unlike other Hamptons. The staff on the floors never greeted us when we saw each other. Hospitality was on the lower side at the Hampton. However, the value was great. It didn’t exceed my expectations.

Service and room size make the Hampton Inn almost worth considering, but location and vibe tip the decision to a solid no, look elsewhere. I’m gonna parrot a lot reviews this location has already garnered. The hotel has very spacious rooms, I gather an unavoidable quirk of turning an older building into an updated hotel. In addition, everyone we dealt with provided great, friendly customer service. Zero service problems. Now the bad. We traveled with a club volleyball team and two team families had to switch rooms. One because her ceiling began to sag with water collection from the room above, and eventually caved in to the bathroom floor. The second because her television and air conditioning quit working. The biggest drawback to this hotel though, the location and dusk till dawn street

This was an excellent choice for our New Orleans trip. The location made getting around incredibly easy, with many attractions reachable by foot or a quick transit ride. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and breakfast each morning was a nice bonus that helped us start the day right. What truly stood out was the staff—everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and eager to help with anything we needed. The combination of convenience, cleanliness, and friendly service made our stay enjoyable from beginning to end. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
