I stayed here for 2 nights during a convention. The hotel is literally immediately across the street from the Convention Center. I checked in using the Hilton app and used an electronic key on my phone, so I did not have to stop at the Front Desk. Room was clean and comfortable and properly equipped for 1-2 people. In light of the fact that this is not a "tourist area" of NOLA, it was very quiet at night. Breakfast comes with the room, and it was ample, with a lot of seating space to accommodate lots of people heading out at the same time. The hotel gym was fine also. Others have complained about the parking rate for valet parking, but I did not need to use it. I have no complaints.

Basic room. The hallway smelled like wet dog. Our room was located right next to an elevator that did not work & a storage room where the housekeepers woke us up a little before 9am while gathered in this area. They were talking so loud for so long, I had to go out & ask them to please keep it down. We received a letter that our water was not to be used to brush our teeth and was amazed that there was no complimentary water left in our room for the inconvenience. The continental breakfast was nice, but I was surprised that there was no fruit served. Lastly, our room overlooked a rooftop. Update: thanks for reaching out. I would also like to add that the showers drain needs to be cleaned out. The water was backing up when I showered and there was no bodywash. It needs to be refilled. Also,

There was nothing not to like about this hotel. I spent a good amount of time searching for hotels which had reasonably priced suite that had two rooms. I reserved a two-queen (bedroom) with sofabed (living room / kitchen) separated by French doors. The interior was well decorated and the windows in the bedroom were actually two stories high! We cooked some instant noodles on the stove using their pot and bowls. Given the vicinity to the convention center, I believe the breakfast area was larger than usual. Your usual Hampton Inn fare if not more - waffles, bread, muffins, sausage patties, egg w cheese, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee, juice. Late checkout was accommodated by front desk though the cleaning staff seemed a bit surprised when I let them know about it. It was relatively easy to

Positive: The location of the hotel was directly across from the convention center. When I walked into the room there was a welcome screen on the tv with my name, I thought that was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful with directions and how to get around Negative: ""

This hotel was fine, rooms were ok decent size, had everything we needed. Service was Meh... the staff at reception basically going for minimum requirements, like didn't do bad but weren't good. Breakfast was wild the first 2 days SOOOO many people it was nuts but our last day it was pleasant, food was ok the kids loved the waffles but that was the longest line. Location is good for convention centre, bit of walk to get to French quarter etc, it was a nice walk along the waterfront but had to Uber back as didn't want to walk both ways. Overall a decent hotel the Valet parking seemed pricey and took awhile but we never used it. Laundry was very good and the gym was decent to use while traveling.
