Hampton Inn & Suites - Cape Coral/Fort Myers Area, FL

First time staying at Hampton and this one night stay will be my last. When I first walk in my room, I was blasted with a musty smell. Yuk. Did i just sleep in a moldy room? I've read other reviews who customers state they had a fridge in their rooms. I guess we weren't that lucky. No fridge. Also, the TV outdated. Need it get SMART TV's Hampton. Get with the modern times please. And their king size bed was so hard and uncomfortable we could feel the matress springs jabbing into our backs. Pillows were down feathers and that they were. Laying your head on this these pillows and your head went straight "down" to the mattress. We both woke several times thru the night and woke very sore and stiff. Also, no balcony. Just very disappointed for my very first stay at the Hampton that cost me $18

Posting email sent to the assistant general manager, to which she never replied:||Good Morning,| |Jaden who was working the desk yesterday afternoon gave me your card.| |I am writing to complain (again!) about the lack of hot water in the sinks in our guest room. While the shower does get hot, the sinks (bathroom and kitchenette area) do not. | |I complained to the desk about this yesterday and she sent your chief engineer up who upon feeling the output advised me, without apology, that the lukewarm water was "good enough." When I explained that it was not (i.e. for shaving, hand and face washing, etc), he said that would check the hot water heater. We had to leave for some meetings and assumed that things would be resolved by the time we returned. | |They were not. The output still

We loved our stay at the Hampton Inn during our baby moon! Rooms were clean and spacious, they included a fridge and a microwave. The biggest perk for us was having breakfast included although it was good, Kathy who works down there, TOP NOTCH. She is incredible. She remembers the guests faces and what you talked about the day before, she is so quick and happy to accommodate, and overall just the sweetest woman. We would come stay here again for Kathy alone. Our only critique is it can be tricky to get to and from the beaches in a timely manner. One side of the bridge closest to the hotel is not a toll, but coming back on the other side is so it turned our route from 23 minutes home from Fort Myers beach all the way to 54 minutes to come back. Recommend purchasing a toll pass if you plan

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting family for a week. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were large. We had plenty of space in the room all around. The breakfast was really good and the lovely lady in the kitchen was so friendly and kind! We have 2 things that we didn’t like but aren’t a big deal breaker to stay again. 1. It took about 20 minutes for the hot water to get hot. 2. They don’t clean the pool or pool area/furniture daily or ever. The furniture ALL had spiderwebs under them and everything was dirty and dusty. Visually noticeable that it’s not cleaned enough.
