Hampton Inn Starkville Mississippi State University

I was there last we for my brother in law funeral and I was not please with the rooms not being cleaned and beds being made even after I asked after the first day. I stayed 4 days and bed was only made 1 time and I had to request that 2 times before it was handle. I never got clean towels unless I went to the desk and get them myself. I complained about it the first night I stayed and it was was not handle. I was very disappointed. I saw 5 different staff members in those 4 days and most of the time you felt like you was interrupting them to ask a question. 2 of them was nice. Diamond and the manager when I told them about the problem I was having but the manager was only there Friday night and Inhad been there 3 days already.

We were going to Starkville for a wedding. We really wanted somewhere to regroup and change into our wedding attire. Because of the timing, our best option was to book two nights. But, it was hard to justify paying for two nights for the event. Early check in wasn't an option when booking, even as a Hilton Honors member. So, I called the hotel weeks in advance, asking about accessing the room 1.5 to 2 hours before the official check in time. I was told that I would need to call back the day of arrival to ask. I did that and was told that there MIGHT be something available at that time.||We arrived about 1.5 hours before the official check in time and were told they didn't have any rooms AT ALL available. Seemed weird that none of the now vacant rooms hadn't been cleaned by that time as the

Positive: The room was super-clean and the breakfast was great Negative: The loud laughter and talking of employees at the desk instead of replenishing the coffee. A lot of goofing off

Excellent hotel. The only down side is it's quite a task to leave the hotel in your vehicle. The hotel is located at an intersection and it's very busy. You'll have to be patient. Just a heads up. Other than that, the hotel is phenomenal.

Loved the hotel. The staff were very friendly. Everything was clean and fresh. The location has two entrances. The road is heavily used so the entrance to the back is better to use.
