Hampton Inn Savannah-Historic District

I really wanted to give 5 stars but the pillows were absolutely horrible. Some were feather which I’m sensitive to. I really can’t stand the animal abuse leading to collecting feathers to make pillows out of. The other pillows they offered were lumpy or flat. The bed was ok. It wasn’t a high quality mattress The room was clean and newly renovated , the bathroom was spotless The lobby was very attractive and just outside was a beautiful park for my dog The valet was efficient , this place is safe and convenient to works class dining at the olde pink house restaurant

I really wanted to enjoy my stay at this hotel, but several issues made it far from comfortable. To start, I found the previous guest’s underwear still hanging on the hook behind the bathroom door—an unsettling sign that the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom was completely empty as well, adding to the feeling that attention to basic housekeeping was lacking. Only one of the elevators was working during my weekend stay, which caused long waits and inconvenience. Inside the room, the phone was broken, making it impossible to reach the front desk without going downstairs in person. Positive: We loved the location of the hotel and the historic design of the hotel.The lobby was very unique, and holiday decorations was really nice.The morning staff was very nice and got us a breakfast to go since we missed the hot breakfast.Hope to be back soon. Negative: We had a room overlooking the construction, and the exit door beside our room closed very hard and was loud. The water did not heat up very hot in the shower, and was lukewarm. That was a bummer since Savannah was having a chilly spell.

Was there on business from 11/16-11/20 2025! This hotel is centrally located to everything happening especially by the river since all you have to do is walk across the street to get there! The hotel was very clean and the young clerk whose name starts with a J who was always smiling and helpful, got me checked in to room 408 but this room had very little hot water so they moved me to 217!! When I moved rooms I found dirty wash cloths still hanging in the shower and a few belongings from the previous guest! The breakfast was not bad but I don’t think they use real eggs. Other than what I experienced, all in all it was a good stay and great location!

Great stay! Excellent service right from the start! The valet, Jayden, was very courteous and thorough. He made some suggestions for the area. Room was very clean and quiet. Bfast was complimentary and had a nice variety. Cross Bay street and you are on the river - easy!
