Hampton Inn Oklahoma City-Northwest

Honestly, this was a horrible experience. I stayed in room 520 and it had bedbugs. Not one, several. The mattress was infested and it was straight-up disgusting. I discovered this around 1:30 a.m., which made the situation even worse. I went to the front desk immediately. They did check availability at another hotel within the same chain, but that was pretty much it. There were no rooms available, and since they had nothing else to offer, I was told they would refund me and that I had to leave. At 1:30 in the morning. I ended up having to make my own reservation at a completely different hotel just to have somewhere safe to sleep that night. I believe this is the Hampton Inn that we stayed at last weekend it was 💯 Percent Awesome 👍 Sara Brennon? had very good breakfast 🥞🍳🥣 prepared for everyone. The people who worked at the Front Desk were 💯 Awesome 👍 too. There was a Sign in the Bathroom if you forgot your Toothbrush 🪥 Shaving Cream etc. just to ask at the Front Desk and we asked and they provided. This will be the place we stay at if we go back to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Thanks To All Of You All & God Bless Everyone Always ❤️🙏

Place should be condemned. The only good I can say about this place is the staff is excellent. Place is old and definitely needs refurbishing. The door had to be slammed closed and forced open. The AC started smoking so we had to get another room which was just as bad as the first. Filthy carpets, your feet stuck to them. Had to use baby wipes in the morning before putting socks and shoes on. Bathroom was falling apart, as was most of the room. Entire hotel smelled of air freshener to try and hide whatever else smelled. Pool was dark and dank, and the neighborhood kids snuck in all the time and wrecked the place. Was up before 6, went to the breakfast, which was one of the ok areas of the hotel, and left. Do not stay here until it is upgraded or replaced.

Front desk pleasant & check in was easy. We stayed in a handicap room. It could use some updates. The blackout shade could not be moved. Called for maintenance, they came right away. Lowered shade for us and offered to replace, but we declined. Toilet ran pretty much all the first night. 2nd day they came & replaced flusher handle & that fixed it. Breakfast lacking, probably because they didn't have much occupancy because the elevator was broken. Got a cheap rate from a third party booking agent, super.com (had never heard of them before & took a chance) 2 nights for $155. Stay was adequate for our needs.

Positive: Breakfast was good, kitchen staff was very nice. Negative: Would be better if elevators worked and there wouldn't be no roaches.
