Hampton Inn Norfolk/Virginia Beach

Positive: Staff was attentive, energetic and hard working. Breakfast was pretty average. Coffee bar was nice. Negative: Pets allowed everywhere, in ALL rooms. Pets more welcome than people?Bums entering and hanging around in the food area. Sketchy….

A great hotel for the price. Everything was very well maintained in the room, the floors were clean, had a smart TV in the room, and the bathroom was also clean and in working condition. I stayed just one night with my family, and it got the job done. Room service was great, we got what we needed. Breakfast was also very good, you get a free breakfast with waffles, breads, fruits, juices, eggs, sausage, and condiments. A great location with access to Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Parking a little bit crowded, but fine otherwise. The elevator floor needs a bit of a fix, but that's just cosmetic and doesn't affect how the elevator is very usable. Overall, its a good hotel that gets the job done!

We had the unfortunate experience of a car breakdown on I 95 in Virginia. Our car had to be towed to a dealer and the closest one was in VA Beach. We picked this Hampton Inn for close proximity to the car dealership and were so fortunate that we did. The hotel was clean,the staff were kind, empathetic and supportive. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room clean and welcoming. A big thank you to the breakfast staff. You're doing everything right. I would like to thank the wonderful staff who kept our spirits up and went above and beyond to make us comfortable while we were stranded without a car for two and a half days. Check in was quick even though it was a busy holiday weekend. Thank you Amir for the service. He got us the extra towels we needed too. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed mattress was firm and comfy. The only problem was the bed frame was not flush to the mattress. I keep hitting my knee on the corners. The bathroom was clean and has strong water pressure. They provide all the toiletries like shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand soap and body lotion. We had breakfast the next day and the staff assigned there that day made sure everything was refilled in a timely manner. Food was delicious and just enough to get started for the day. Overall a great stay!

Nice, clean, easy process for check in and breakfast. FYI they advertise EV charging but only has one working charger (1/2). I looked into this after arrival (PlugShare) and it’s been broken for awhile. If you want to charge overnight you might want to look into an alternative hotel.
