Hampton Inn Middletown

The rooms are clean. The water is not hot enough to shower. The curtains don't block outside light. The furniture is old and worn. The exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn't work. I'm sorry but for a Hampton Inn... it's disappointing.

Check in was great. Had a little snafu with the keycard but was quickly remedied. Breakfast is typical and enough to get you started in the morning. Rooms were clean and plenty big enough. The hotel is set back on its own right next to Walmart so good location. If you're not looking for fancy but clean and nice employees then this is a good one. Only advice is be sure to push/pull shut well as just letting it close doesn't latch it.

We arrived for a three night stay for a family wedding. First thing I noticed was the room that was listed as a king room with a sofa was missing a sofa. After returning to the front desk we were notified they didn’t have any other king rooms but we could switch to a double queen. We switched to much smaller double queen room . The next morning as we were getting ready we noticed the floors throughout the room were filthy. My son had black stained feet and our socks were black from the short time walking in the room. I notified the front desk who apologized and said they would have the room cleaned and discount our stay. We returned late and noticed the next morning as we are leaving for wedding that again feet socks and anything that touched the floor was black and dirty. I notified the

Positive: "" Negative: Drawer doors would not stay shut. Refrigerator cabinet was broken and scratched. Room was not cleaned during stay.

My elderly disabled mother who is also blind stayed here for almost a week. We were facing some very difficult and challenging life on life terms situations. All the ladies who work at the front desk (Taylor, Stephanie, and 2 other ladies who I regret not getting their names) went above and beyond to help my mother and I in anyway they could. They showed us kindness and gave us grace, which was very much needed. I am so grateful for them and I am so grateful for choosing to stay at the Hampton Inn. If you choose to stay there, you will not regret it! I will promise you that... Much love and appreciation for The Hampton ladies 💛
