Fairfield Inn Middletown Monroe

Yes, the hotel is dated, but the awesome staff more than makes up for that. We've been staying here for over 14 years for a specific event. Last year was just awful-the room, the breakfast, the cleanliness, no where to plug in devices. We were quite pleased this trip, from the moment we walked into the lobby/breakfast area. Freshly painted and new lighting. We did stay in room 213 and it was spotless...I had my doubts after reading another review. The new owners were in the lobby as we checked in and were excited to hear our opinions. We definitely look forward to seeing more updates next year!

We had a wonderful stay here! The front desk was friendly at check in and check out, they gave us this cutie little goody bag with waters and snacks in it while checking in. They’re doing renovations, so the hallways are a little dusty, but the room was perfect and as clean as I would hope for. The continental breakfast was thorough and very yummy. We would totally stay here again!

Positive: The employees Negative: The pictures lied about having a pool and there is pool. I asked for a manager to call me back and have yet to hear from anybody. This is completely unprofessional.

I stayed this past week at this Fairfield Inn location. Even going under some renovations this little hotel was lovely. The staff were all friendly Even the guys in the hallways working. I will be back to check out that new pool! One staff member in particular was excellent, professional, knowledgeable, and absolutely made the difference in my stay. Tiffany P. At the front desk checked me in swiftly and was AMAZING! As someone who is in Hospitality management myself I can say that Tiffany checked all the boxes! Love her! I didn't have breakfast but the attendant in there was absolutely pleasant as well when I was checking out. Thank you.

Hotel is undergoing renovations and they should shut the hotel down while they do them as they are badly needed. Pillows are horrible (flat as pancakes), A/C and heat don't work and window wouldn't open. No lights in switches and no sheets/blankets/pillow for pull out couch. Breakfast was a joke and we went elsewhere. Worst Fairfield we've stayed in. Would get money back if possible.
