Hampton Inn Melbourne-Viera

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my stay at the Hampton Inn Melbourne–Viera from December 19–21, in Room 315. To begin, the room was extremely dirty and had a strong, muggy odor upon arrival. This was very unpleasant and not what I expect from a Hampton Inn. Later that evening, when I went to shower my youngest son, I noticed a large broken tile on the top right of the shower, which was a serious safety hazard. I immediately called the front desk and was told someone would be sent to address the issue; however, no one ever came. Around 11:30 PM, my younger son became ill and vomited on the bed comforter. I called the front desk and was told they would bring clean sheets and a comforter, but I was instructed that I would need to remake the bed myself. I was als

Terrible experience. There were cockroaches in the hallway and the entire hotel smelled bad. We waited over 30 minutes for the front desk girl to show up. The room key cards did not work, and I had to go to the front desk four times so someone could come and open the door for us. When we finally got into the room, it was dirty. The beds smelled like they had already been used, as if they were only made up but the sheets were never changed. This was unacceptable and very disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Let me preface this with the fact that we normally stay at Hampton Inn or Hilton properties and are diamond members.. This was a Horrible experience!!! Would not recommend staying here... we arrived on our floor and there was a horrendous smell as soon as we got off the elevator. We noticed each of the 4 days of our reservation. On the way to our room, there were bleach marks up and down the carpet. Once in the room, it was hot, humid, and musty. The bathroom was disgusting. There was urine on the floor and side of the toilet. The bathtub had paint or some sort of stains all over the floor the floor if it. The hotel was in the perfect location if you are going to Brevard Zoo, literally right next to the Zoo! The hotel was clean and as a solo woman traveling, I felt safe. The hotel has a restaurant right next to it that you can walk to. Overall, it was a nice hotel to stay at.
