Hampton Inn Helena

We stayed 2 nights here 03/26. We got fantastic service from the staff. They were friendly and professional. The room above us apparently had a Tasmanian devil on speed. The clerk put us in another room. It was much quieter. Breakfast was really good. The eggs, and potatoes were perfectly seasoned, and cooked. The room was clean an comfortable. The step in shower is appreciated with my knees. We will stay here for every VA appointment.

I come here quite often for work and the rooms are always okay. However they are always out of water. At first I just thought it was catching them at a bad time but I have probably stayed here 10 times in the past few months and I can only remember 1 time where they had water. Seems like the management here doesn’t care about being stocked. I know it’s a small thing but it’s important to me and I time or two whatever. But it’s a real problem when it’s an amenity that they never have.

Positive: We had a great, relaxing stay at the hotel. The pool area was extremely hot and the hot tub was broken-which happens-but over all we had a great stay! Negative: ""

This was the worst experience I have had. Hotel was not transparent with any of there services. Tv was messed up. Was forced to take the room or get no refund even with making the reservation same day of our stay due to there policy that kind you was not explained or displayed on any sort of source. Then was up charged to get our room back even though the reservation was made that hour. Front desk refused to help with said TV. We had to wait in “line“ behind five people to even speak to someone in a supervising position who we’re having the same issues or worse. And they need to work on their communication with new incoming guests, front desk was on there personal phone paying no attention or interacting with incoming guests. Overall not impressed, rooms were clean pillows were limited. I

The counter staff were great. But before I reserved the room I asked if there was a hot tube, I was told yes. I should have the asked if it WORKED. Got there, the room was clean, the bathroom was very clean. Old blood or red ink stain on the blanket. Needed to do some laundry, the dryer sounded like it was going to die and my clothes were kinda dry. Then went to the hot tub and found out that it didn't work and had been broken for about a week. Located was easy to get to, staff was doing the best they could I feel for what they had. But probably look for some other place if your looking for a semi warm pool or a working hot tub. Overall after a 8 hour drive, I just felt I could have done way better at a different inn.
