Hampton Inn Findlay

Service was very good, if you're a light sleeper this may not be the place for you. MAKE SURE you request a room on the even number side not facing the interstate! I tried but the highway noise was horrible, I knew something was up when they had ear plugs laying on the night stand. Had they not had a room on the other side I would have found a different hotel.

Arrived at 10 PM on Christmas Eve exhausted and was greeted rudely by the front desk. We were disappointed that the pool was down and was told then you can just cancel. Surprised by the rudeness, we said we didn’t want the reservation canceled. We had prepaid for the room and was told she wouldn’t check us in because our card declined. We offered a different card for incidentals and she refused. Told us she cancelled our prepaid room and we could find somewhere else to sleep. ON CHRISTMAS EVE! We have been refused a refund and told good luck getting to a manager. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I typically have an excellent experience at this location and have never encountered any issues in the past. However, during my most recent stay, there was a minor disappointment. Around 11 p.m., I had food delivered and asked Jill if I could have a small milk to enjoy with my two brownies. She told me no milk was available only during breakfast hours. While I understand the policy, I stay here weekly for business and didn’t expect that one small milk would be an issue. I would have been happy to pay for it if necessary. The milk had to be only 8-10 ounces and I think wouldn’t have been an issue at any of the other locations I’ve stayed at regularly. That said, this is the only less-than-positive experience I’ve had here. The staff is generally outstanding, and I continue to enjoy staying

It was a clean place and the breakfast was good. If you get to pick your room, and need quiet pick the rooms that are even numbers. The odd number rooms are right along the side of the interstate.
