Findlay Inn & Conference Center

We stayed here on 12/26. The hotel is very conveniently located downtown, walking distance to the event we attended. Upon check-in, the desk person wasn't very friendly. She was curt and businesslike. Not rude, just not welcoming. The room was actually very nice, however there were little gnats in various locations, bathroom wall and windows sills and on top of the air conditioner. We did sleep well in comfortable beds. Check out time was noon the next day, however we were awakened at 7:45am by the loudest housekeepers I've ever experienced. Constantly banging doors right next to us, talking loudly. It was as if they were trying to wake everyone in order to clear the rooms. What could have been a nice stay was ruined by people who've forgotten they're in the hospitality busines

We were there for an event. Everything was amazing. Food was awesome, people working were very nice and made the party so much better. Oh and let's not for get the desserts they had the best chocolate cake and was told the other choices were amazing. Definitely would book and event here.

We attended a wedding at the fairground and stayed at the inn for the weekend. It was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast on the weekend was better than the week day. It was busy on the weekend and my parents didn’t get their room cleaned, but we did. No real complaints. Felt safe and slept well

After the mixed reviews we were reluctant to stay here but the stay ended up being more than adequate. Everything was clean, staff were nice and the location was great being close to several restaurants and bars. Will stay here again. Also, there is a restaurant and bar at the hotel that is supposedly good. However, it was closed on the Monday we were there.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! ABSOLUTE FIRE HAZZARD 🔥 Don't let the pictures posted fool you. Yes, it looks nice but absolute nightmare. The check in simple but after that absolute nightmare. The worst part my friend got electrocuted while plugging in a hair dryer. Literally sparks flying out. Made all the bathroom lights completely go out. There was burn marks all over the outlet. She couldn't even call down to the front desk because there are no phones in the rooms. The Manger that was working, didn't even care. She just kept on clearing the dinner tables at the wedding and told her to push the reset button on the plug in. Didn't even bother going to look at the room. All they did was switch her room. The next room the light kept flickering. We should have instantly called the fire department an
