A person at front desk had an attitude. Water should have been placed in the room instead of asking everytime at front desk. Most of the front desk people behaved like they are doing a favour by giving a water bottle. Need more variety breakfast across days. Room lights are very dim and inefficient for reading or doing work (a small bulb near TV is not suitable for writing/reading on table). No light in opposite side/corner of window. More spread out water flow and bigger shower is required, water flow is about 50% of required, even when compared with showers from other peer/competitor hotels. Coffe/water available 24/7 in common area was lukewarm.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn West Loop! The breakfast staff were absolutely wonderful... so kind, attentive, and genuinely made mornings feel welcoming. They kept everything stocked, fresh, and made sure guests started the day on a positive note. A special shout-out to the incredible man who worked the parking garage. He seemed to be there around the clock, always smiling, always helpful, and going above and beyond to make parking easy and stress-free. His work ethic and positive attitude truly stood out and made a lasting impression. You can tell this hotel cares about its guests. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Chicago!
This location was perfect for my husband’s business trip. We selected it because it was close to his meeting site. We were extremely happy with the location, the staff and the comfort we experienced. It was a short stay. But we plan to keep this Hampton Inn as our main stay for return visit. Front desk staff and security team as well as the park agents , were all extremely friendly and welcoming.
Confusing layout - need better signage at all levels and corners. Two separate elevators and the signs are difficult to follow. Breakfast seating is way too small for the size of the hotel so you’ll be bumping into people and not able to find seat. The front desk is cashless so I couldn’t find change for a twenty for a tourist attraction tip needed. No vending but a small shop with snacks and drinks. Would have traded tap for an actual fountain soda station but not available. Location is decent and fantastic if you want to be near union station and canal, but they jacked up prices to 8 times normal rate for events like marathon. Rooms clean and lovely - no issues with rooms. Paid $$$ extra for sky view but even on the highest floor (24) the view was just a few buildings. Tried to get a con
Positive: The staff were perfect Negative: The bed and pillows were both uncomfortable, so I barely slept during my four-night stay. Better pillows might have made the mattress bearable, but together they were rough. I also wish waffles were offered on the weekend.
